Since its inception, SBCA has established itself as one of the largest socio-cultural organization of South Bangalore and has broadened its sphere of activities by organizing a diverse platform to uphold the rich cultural heritage of India and serving the society at large. The association is blessed with the best of the people as its patrons, well-wishers and dedicated members, thereby enabling the association to grow from strength to strength. In line with its commitment towards social responsibility, SBCA participates and organizes events like Blood Donation Camps, contributes to Prime Minister's relief funds, Blind School, Old Age Home and sponsors education for children in SOS village and supports treatment of cancer patients. While The Durga Puja organized by SBCA is one of its most successful events in its activity calendar, SBCA also organizes all Bengali traditional cultural events through-out the year.SBCA also operates a Library ( Geeta Roy Memorial Library ) with the objective of inculcating reading habit among people and especially children.
